This month we start a series of collectible diagrams - The BOK task inputs and output rendered in a series, in color, with a few interpretations here and there. You want to keep these, as we will cover every BOK task before we are done.

This month we present a "legend" to understand the diagrams, plus some interpretation leading to the "initiation of BOK activities", and showing the generation of the "Business Need" that is required even before "Business Analysis Planning and Monitoring" can begin. And a bonus interpretation, at bottom!

Here we go!

Uh, Marcos, I think I missed the first couple of instalments, because this whole blog means nothing to me - I can only guess. Could you add an introduction or a couple of links to whatever it refers to, so I can get an understand of where this blog fits in and what it's trying to explain.

The pattern may not be apparent yet - many of the diagrams are legends, samples to understand material to come. The others must be read carefully - I try to show how BA activities initiate, and there is more explanation than flowchart - if you look carefully, you will see a chart that kicks off "Define Business Need", and then another that shows the output of "Business Need". This is a little thin, but will be expanded soon with flowcharts showing all of Enterprise Analysis, tasks inputs and outputs, Elicitation, etc. These bitmaps will make a collection that tries to cover the whole BOK I/O flow. Wish me luck, this is not as easy as it looks!
